PrettyFit Whey is sold as an All-Natural supplement for women seeking to build lean muscle and lose body fat. We take a look at the product on both fronts as well as how it’s designed for women. Check it out in our full review below!
PrettyFit delivers 25 grams of protein with no fat and less than 1 gram of carbs per 28.4g serve. This is delivered by a cold processed ultra micro-filtered Whey Isolate, This product is 88% protein pure which is fairly impressive! This should make this product an ideal workout supplement and help with lean muscle development.
To this, they have added Natural Flavors for the vanilla in our case. Xanthan Gum is added as a thickener for a more creamy texture. Stevia is used as a natural sweetener.
The only other additive in this lean ingredient line-up is a digestive enzyme which includes Protease I, Protease II, Amylase, Lipase, and Lactase. These should speed up protein digestion allowing for more rapid amino acid delivery as well as dealing with any small amount of lactose that may be present. This should help with people that suffer from mild lactose intolerance and make this a more suitable product.
To be honest, there is nothing about this product that makes it more specifically for women apart from the marketing strategy and brand name. That’s not to say this product is not an excellent choice for active women and athletes. It’s a great product, we just think it would be equally great for men too!
This product is best designed for those wishing to bulk up or to increase their athletic performance and stamina.
While this product is also low carb and could be used for weight loss, there are probably more suitable products. A slower digesting protein would help curb hunger longer if weight loss was the only goal.
In milk, the vanilla flavor was mild and pleasant, but this product does not mix as well as some other powders.
You’re going to have to shake this product a little longer for a smooth texture or blend it where possible for best results. In water we were less impressed with the flavor, which was a bit too weak for our liking.
There is no doubt that this is a great quality product, but it’s a fair bit more expensive than your average whey isolate.
However, this product offers a great ingredient list with several added digestive enzymes. When you take into account the quality of ingredients and the pleasing lack of artificial’s then this may be a well-priced option for you.
Despite appearances, this is a high-quality product with a price to match. Most products of this quality also include artificial ingredients, but not PrettyFit. If you would rather avoid the artificial’s, then the premium price might be one you’re willing to pay for a seriously effective performance product. We were pleasantly surprised by this product!
