One 38g scoop of Vega One has 20 grams of protein, 4 grams of net carbs and 5 grams of fat. Its protein content comes from Pea Protein to which they have added a number of greens and fruit extracts.
These include carrot, spinach, acerola cherry, chard, kale, lettuce, pomegranate, blueberry, acai and more. While many of these may include unique benefits, the primary benefit is the diverse range of vitamin and mineral-packed nutrients that your body needs.
For sweetening, they have used Stevia Extract. They have also included Xanthan Gum which is used as a thickener and to provide a creamy texture. Bromelain is also added and is a digestive enzyme that is very effective in helping break down protein. Vega has also included a probiotic which is Bacillus coagulans which helps provide a good balance of good bacteria in your gut.
Vega has ensured all the ingredients going into this product are organically grown and offer all the best that nature can provide.

Taste
This is a surprising product when it comes to taste.
Most products with greens tend to be gritty and with a pretty poor taste, but the vanilla was slightly nutty and earthy, but quite pleasant tasting. We liked it in both water and almond milk, but the milder taste in water was more pleasing.

Vega One costs a little more than the average for vegan protein powders, but with good reason!

While suited for vegan use, there is no reason why this product couldn’t also be useful for anyone seeking to lose excess pounds. While a whey product may be more protein efficient, they don’t tend to include the healthy array of added plant extracts to ensure you’re receiving essential vitamins and minerals.
